Vastushastra is a scripture discovered by our ancient sages which enables us to live according to the laws of nature. It is our basic instinct to make our life simple and beautiful by adopting the rules of Vastushastra. We can get the full benefits of Vastushastra by building any construction according to Vastu rules. Vastushastra is our unique technique that was discovered by our forefathers. Indian Vastushastra is known as " The Indian Architect" in the whole world.
But the question here is that if we plan our building according to the rules of Vastushastra, we will be able to get complete success. If you search by writing Vastushastra on Google, many tips are available, then why should I take advice from an expert Vastu adviser? This question will come here. Again, a question many people come too repeatedly, is this a new thing? Our ancestors did not build according to vastushastra. This is a real story when I started walking with Vastushastra, there were not so many Vastu consultants as now, and suddenly there was a flood of Vastu consultants.
In fact, since the dawn of civilization, art practice has been given a high place in the Indian subcontinent. Architecture is one of the subjects of philosophy. Atharva Upaveda or Architecture is one of the four Upavedas derived from the Atharvaveda. Among the 18 Puranas, particularly in the Matsya Puranam, we get a special artifact in 8 chapters on vastushastra.
According to the Matsya Purana about the appearance of Vastu, a fearsome form emerged from the sweat drop that fell on the earth from Lord Shiva's forehead during the slaying of Andhakasura. As soon as he was born, started screaming loudly, because he couldn't handle his huge hunger and started eating all the gods and demons in front of him. In the end, not being able to get up, the gods as well as Asuras held the body of Vastu Dev upside down to the earth and took the position in different parts of Vastu Dev.
In Matsya Puranam, in chapter 252, the names of 18 famous Acharyas of Vastushastra are mentioned. In Chapter 255, there is a special description of pillars. In chapters 258, 262, 263,269, 270 we find various references to vastushastra. After that in Skandha Purana, especially in Maheshwar Khanda (second part) and Baishnba khanda (second part), we get special mention of vastushastra. Agni Purana also finds Vastushastra’s description in detail in 16 chapters (chapters 42-46, 49-60, 62, 104, 106).
In Vastushastra, we have two types of Shaily. Nagar Shaily and Dravir Shaily which we find mentioned in various books of Vastushastra. It is also seen in two types of Shaily's book and separate. For example, the special books of Nagar Shaily are Purana, Brihat- Sanghita, Haribhaktavilash, Vishwakarma Prakash, Samarangan Sutradhar, Vastu- Ratnavali etc. Just like Dravir Shaily some books Saivagam, Atri-Sanghita, Mayamat, Mansar, Chitra-Laxan, etc.
In Agam, special texts on Vastu-Vidhya are mentioned Kamikagam, Suprovedagam, Baikhan-Sagam etc. We are in the present modern age after passing through such periods as the Mahabharata period, Raja Bhoja period. In Vastushastra, we have found three positions of Vastu. Char Vastu, Nitya Vastu and Sthir Vastu. In Nitya Vastu it is mentioned that Vastu’s position changes every three hours.
The good thing is- it is really possible to know exactly which floor plan is right for YOU by checking your space or existing construction. Most of the texts and images that we see in all our ancient scriptures are written in special codes. This is also seen in Vastushastra. Which is usually not possible to decode by common people. The full benefit of Vastushastra is ONLY possible when the researcher's code can be completely de-coded. Hence, it is very important to get advice from an expert Vastu Adviser.
